With over 34 years experience building stairs and railings, Kawartha Stair & Rail Ltd. has developed into a leader in the industry. Serving the Kawarthas as well as the Muskokas and Haliburton areas. We have chosen to grow at a slow but steady pace in order to maintain a sustainable business. Regular improvements to our machinery is an important part of our growth plan. Last year we installed a new dust system. It has improved the working conditions in our shop as well as making the shop more efficient.
We are constantly expanding the complexity of our products and are always open to new ideas. Learning is a never ending part of being in business and we expect to be doing bigger and better things all the time.

Custom Design
Every house is as individual as it’s owners.
We custom design every feature of your staircase and railing system with you to ensure you get what you want. We work with architects and designers regularly as well as keeping in contact with local planners and building inspectors to make sure everything conforms to The Ontario Building Code.
We also work together with your other sub trades to coordinate our work and minimize headaches.
Installation
We install all our products with our own employees doing all of the work. We hire no sub contract installers because we don’t want any corners cut.
All our work is installed and ready for finish. We leave the finish to the professionals because that’s what they do best – make our products look great.
